Healing After Loss: Insights into Rebirth Through Astrology

Dear Friends, Let’s delve into a mystical topic in this article, one that isn’t directly related to horoscope analysis and, therefore, cannot lead to definitive conclusions.

We all experience the loss of loved ones. One comforting thought, however, is the belief in reincarnation — that the departed will live many, many more lives.

How Long Until a New Incarnation?

This question, for understandable reasons, cannot be answered definitively. However, we can reflect on the topic by considering certain facts.

Each of a person’s incarnations is dedicated to fulfilling a specific karmic task. This karmic task for each lifetime is determined by the position of the North Lunar Node in a particular zodiac sign.

For the purpose of this discussion, we won’t focus on the content of individual karmic tasks but rather on their timing.

The Movement of Lunar Nodes

The Lunar Nodes take approximately 18.5 years to complete a full journey through the zodiac, spending about 1.5 years in each sign. Unlike the Sun’s motion, the Nodes move in the opposite direction — after Aries, the North Node moves into Pisces, then Aquarius, Capricorn, and so on.

The fulfillment of karmic tasks occurs in a sequential order because our universe operates with incredible logic. A person goes through a series of lifetimes, either fulfilling or neglecting their assigned karmic task. After 12 incarnations, this cycle repeats at a higher level.

If a karmic task remains unfulfilled, it lingers with the individual as a karmic debt. However, this is not the primary focus of our discussion today.

Reincarnation, karma, and their timing are profound subjects, and while astrology offers fascinating insights into these mysteries, much remains beyond human understanding.

Sequential Karmic Tasks and Reincarnation

We know that karmic tasks follow a sequential order, which means that in the next incarnation, the North Lunar Node will be in the zodiac sign preceding its position in the current lifetime.

For example, in this chart, the North Node is in Libra. The owner of this chart has passed away. Since this is not a full horoscope (as the exact birth time is unknown), we are working with a cosmogram set for 12:00 PM.

In the person’s next life, the North Node will be in the sign of Virgo.

Timing of the Next Incarnation

What else is important to understand?

The next incarnation can occur almost immediately after death, within a few years, several decades, centuries, or even millennia. This timing can often be examined through the karmic horoscope of any individual.

One significant advantage of a karmic horoscope is that precise birth time is not required—only the date is needed. A karmic horoscope can shed light on many aspects of a person’s journey.

Currently, we are living in a time when a vast number of people are being born, which accelerates the cycle of reincarnation. This allows us to reasonably assume that the next incarnation will most likely occur within a few years or decades.

To explore this further, we would identify periods when the North Lunar Node will be in Virgo.

Minimum Interval Before Rebirth

It’s also essential to remember that the interval between lives cannot be shorter than 12 months:

  • 9 months for pregnancy
  • 3 months before conception, during which many esoteric traditions believe the soul chooses its mother.

Finding Comfort in Reincarnation

Having this knowledge can help individuals cope with the loss of loved ones, especially when their lives were marked by hardship or illness.

With this perspective, we can hope that in their next incarnation, they will be reborn healthy and happy, free of the karmic debts they carried in previous lives.
