From Birth Time to Business Location: The Role of Rectification in Business Astrology

Let's look at an example of rectifying a horoscope for a woman who knows her birth time from her birth certificate.

Why was this rectification needed? The woman approached me with a question about where she should register her company for an online business. Since the business was to be conducted over the internet, she wasn’t tied to any specific country or city. Professional recommendations for business decisions are a significant responsibility in astrology, as choosing the wrong location could lead to substantial financial losses. We’ll cover the process of choosing a country for business registration in this article.

When a person is not legally married, rectification can become more complicated, as we lose access to one of the key tools for determining birth time. The method of birth time rectification based on the first marriage has several limitations and, in any case, cannot be used without additional calculations and verification using all the techniques available to the astrologer.

The time indicated on the certificate was 7:20 p.m.

In this case, I used her natal chart and two local charts from the two cities she had lived in, as she had moved twice. According to the time on the certificate, her rising sign was Leo. In reality, she does embody the traits of a Leo ascendant, so there was no contradiction.

The most crucial part of an astrologer’s work is gathering as much detailed information as possible about the client, in a way that is applicable in astrological analysis. This is why accurately filling out the questionnaire and answering any additional questions, even if they seem unusual, is essential for a proper rectification process.

What life events can we use for rectification?:

Natal Chart

Death of the father at a relatively young age
Venus is located in the 4th house, forming the formula for happiness.

Residence 1 – Indicates danger for the first son, as a child born in this city has a horoscope containing a formula for premature death. This aspect should be reflected in the mother’s horoscope.
Venus is not located in the 4th house.

There was an induced labor at the 24th week of pregnancy, triggered by the fact that the fetus was developing with a heart defect incompatible with life. This defect was diagnosed relatively late, necessitating the termination of the pregnancy at an advanced stage.

Residence 2
Saturn and Jupiter are in the 4th house.

Let’s input these conditions into the software and examine the birth time required for these events to be evident in her horoscope.

So, we observe the birth time needed for the woman’s natal chart or the relevant local chart to reflect the necessary indicators.

The overall possible birth time window that satisfies all the conditions is from 18:47 to 18:54, which is approximately half an hour earlier than indicated on the birth certificate. The more information about the client that can be gathered and systematized, the narrower the birth time interval becomes.

The next step is to verify this time window using retrospective forecasting. Retrospective forecasting involves using astrological prediction methods to confirm events that have already occurred in a person’s life.

Let’s review significant events such as the death of the father and the loss of the fetus at the 24th week of pregnancy.

Death of the Father: September 29, 2011

We can see that the father’s death is reflected for any time within the chosen window. This observation both confirms the accuracy of the calculated interval and indicates that this event is not suitable for pinpointing the exact birth time.

It is also noteworthy that this isn’t the first time I have observed that a native’s chart (a native is the person whose horoscope is being analyzed) can reveal circumstances related to the death of a close relative.

In this particular case, the woman’s father passed away due to a gastric hemorrhage. We can see at least three precise transit aspects on the day of his death: Moon square Mars, Moon square Moon, and Moon conjunction with the Black Moon (Lilith). These aspects not only reflect the formula for danger to the father but also contain the complete formula for issues with the digestive system, involving the 4th, 6th, 11th, and 12th houses.

Let’s now examine the next event relevant to the woman herself: the loss of a child at the 24th week of pregnancy. This event should be traced in progressions as a potential danger to the fetus—specifically, an affliction involving the Moon or the 4th house by the 8th house.

The event occurred on November 24, 2007.

The automatic retrospective forecasting function currently does not support calculations for this type of event.

Therefore, the method will involve manually adjusting the birth time in the profile card from 18:47 to 18:54 and examining what the predictive methods indicate for each birth time.

Step-by-step analysis: By iterating through each birth time, starting from 18:47, I did not initially observe the necessary indications in the predictive methods. The pointers were insufficient, although they should have been present.

Only at the birth time of 18:54 did a cusp aspect with the required formula begin to appear (the cusp of the 8th house quincunx Black Moon (Lilith), creating the 4-8 formula).

Progressive aspects can be of two types: those formed by planets and those formed between two cusps (a cusp is the beginning of a house) or between a cusp and a planet. Planetary aspects change minimally when the birth time shifts within a narrow range, so special attention must be given to cusp aspects.

Broadening the time range: Let’s set aside the constraint of the 18:54 limit for now and extend the analysis to later times.

At the birth time of 18:56, a third necessary aspect with the required formula appears in the slow progression—the cusp of the 10th house quincunx Neptune. This brings us closer to a solution, although the fast progression still lacks the necessary indications.

At the birth time of 18:57, the minimum necessary aspects remain present, and the quincunx between the cusp of the 8th house and the Black Moon (Lilith) becomes nearly exact, with the precise date of this aspect being December 4. However, clear indications for this event still do not appear in the fast progression.

When we reduce the increment and look at the next birth time of 18:57:30, we find the required indication in the fast progression—the aspect of Mars in opposition to the Black Moon becomes exact on the date and time when the induced delivery took place. The infant was born alive but passed away after the umbilical cord was cut.

When examining later birth times, these indications disappear.

Rationale for Exceeding the Pre-calculated Time Range: Now, let’s discuss why I extended beyond the initially calculated time window, which limited the birth time to 18:54.

When we construct a horoscope for the birth time of 18:57:30, we see that the danger for the first son holds true under the condition of a later occurrence of the event. This is an indirect but positive indicator—while the son’s horoscope contains the risk of premature death, from the perspective of how this is reflected in the mother’s chart, this dangerous event should not occur at a young age. The threshold for indicating premature death in a chart is 70 years; if this risk is present, it suggests that the person may not reach 70 years of age due to some reason. The later manifestation of the event implies death at an older age, at least after 60 years.

Of course, in this context, it is necessary to work with the child’s horoscope as well. However, he has already relocated from his birthplace to a safer location where the formula for premature death is no longer present.

Additionally, a review of the horoscope for the calculated birth time reveals the move that actually took place and the presence of an alcoholic father and a stepfather. The time of birth was initially unknown—despite being stated in the birth certificate, it required recalculation and significant adjustment.

This birth time was further verified through other medical interventions. Once the birth time is rectified, we begin making future forecasts and ensure to request client feedback on what has been happening and how, as adjustments may be necessary based on new circumstances.
